Dressage Lessons – Classical & Modern

An Emphasis on Individuality and Attention to Detail

  • Each lesson is carefully designed around the individual needs of rider and/or horse.
  • We analyse each riders position and application of aids and then adjustments are made to ensure understanding and harmony between horse and rider.
  • Our attention to detail means students easily understand and can then apply that knowledge effectively and with care.
  • We educate riders so they know the how and why of communicating with horses resulting in caring, confident, efficient and effective riders. We achieve the same results with horses too.
  • Riding a highly schooled horse enables the rider to develop feel, learn to apply the correct aids and experience all the advanced movements.
  • Our riders go away with a clear understanding of why and how. We do not direct traffic, we educate.
  • We are happy to train students and horses to lead, lunge, long rein, plus Classical work in hand and sidesaddle as taught by Nuno Oliveira to Sarita in Portugal.
  • Barrie is a National 'A' Level Dressage Judge & Judge Educator.
  • Sarita is a Senior Instructor & Clinic Instructor with Horse Safety Australia.
  • We have both trained extensively with International Grand Masters throughout Europe.
